We are looking for a CFO with international experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by making a real impact. The role involves acting as a strategic advisor to our four founders and helping take the company to the next level while driving our continued business expansion.

At Y4 we blend IT and management consulting, empowering leading Nordic companies to bridge the execution gap. We are a rapidly growing consulting company specializing in Salesforce and strategic advisory services, created by our four hands-on founders who are leading their respective areas of responsibility.

We are currently located with offices in Denmark, Norway and Latvia, with 50+ employees, with plans to expand by organizational growth and through acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting,performance tracking, liquidity management and funding

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations across several countries

• Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis across countries

• Preparing consolidated accounts for the auditor and authorities

• Financial advisor for the four founders of the company

• Assist with planning and legal advice around establishing departments in various countries

As CFO, you will be responsible for ensuring qualified budgeting, high-quality financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient controlling processes. You will support business decisions through clear financial insights, and ensure compliance with IFRS, governance standards, and company policies.

You will be working hands-on with financial controlling and reporting, in a position close to all four founders and owners. The daily bookkeeping, debit and credit invoicing and salary management is handled by the Back Office Manager, who will be reporting to you.

You will be part of shaping the role and responsibilities while getting the job done, and you will play a big role in the expansion and growth of the company. Travel within the Nordics and Europe will be expected.

Your profile

• A relevant degree and experience in finance, accounting or something similar with a solid understanding of financial controls, reporting and regulations

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
